Flying
Access to Lombok by flying is now getting easier all the time. There are now 4 airlines serving the route from Denpasar Airport in Bali to Mataram Airport in Lombok.
The flight time is just 25 minutes, with a check in time of 1 hour before the flight is due to depart, this is a very quick and convenient method of getting to Lombok.
Flights cost around 35-40USD and are rarely fully booked, but booking is still advisable.
From Mataram you can take a taxi to Bangsal, which takes approximately 45 minutes, where you can take the public ferry to Gili Air. Alternatively you could take the speed boat which is a little more expensive but also far more convenient as there can be long waits for the public boat.
If you would like an easier journey we offer airport transfers, which are a little more expensive but will get you from baggage pick up to the steps of our shop in around 1 hour.
